As far back as Rumi can recall, she was raised to be two things — an idol and a Hunter, the first for the purpose of being the latter. It's music she really loves, though, and as a member of global sensation HUNTR/X, she fights to keep her country safe from demonic invasion. Frankly, the mix of being taught self-loathing for her demon half while being lauded as an internationally beloved pop star really does a number on a girl's psyche. After finally catching a break and starting a hiatus, beginning to heal from the last couple decades, Rumi winds up in Darrow instead.

▶ DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Due to her half-demon heritage, Rumi has patterns that appear on her skin in jagged lightning-like lines. Their location isn't entirely consistent and they aren't always present all over, nor are they visible to most people. For anyone who might be attuned to the paranormal for whatever reason, they might be seen on the left side of her face and her right abdomen and arm. They look a bit like iridescent scars.

▶ POSITIVE TRAITS: Devoted, passionate, loving, enthusiastic, a quick learner, persistent; despite her insecurities, Rumi is, in a lot of ways, extremely confident in herself and her skills, and she knows her value.
