The Castle

The Castle is a large mansion sitting in Darrow's countryside, just north of East Hallow, designed to look similar to a castle with a tower at each of its four corners.

Construction on the Castle, also known as Walter's Castle or the Vampire's Castle, began sometime in the mid- to late-19th century, and was never completed. Several rooms in the house are finished in the sense of having all their walls and windows, but otherwise incomplete, and scaffolding can be found on various parts of it, notable the front lefthand side of the building and the corresponding tower. Despite that, this tower is accessible by staircase, though given its state, that is inadvisable.

It appeared without warning or fanfare in January of 2025. Anyone lingering around East Hallow or even Darrow itself, if they've heard of it, is inclined to think you're being weird if you question this. At the time of its arrival, it belongs to Shion.
